Eric Thomas

President

Eric graduated from Quincy University in 1995 with a degree in accounting. He worked extremely hard at an internet service provider for five years, during which time he started ETC back in 1997. Eric recently completed his Masters in Business Administration and really considers himself to be lucky to be able to love what he does every day. Eric knows his way around Cisco Systems equipment, Linux, and Windows among other hardware and operating systems.

He gets to be the boss and work among a great, but slightly off-kilter team here at ETC ComputerLand. Every day brings new challenges which we are able to provide team-based solutions for networking, computing and website needs for our clients.

Dan Fisher

Systems Consultant

I'm proud to say I have been here since the beginning - The beginning of ComputerLand back in 1990 and now the beginning of ETC ComputerLand. I was reading DOS manuals before the term Geek was even coined, and yes, I have booted from a 5 inch floppy to run VisiCalc from the other 5 inch floppy drive on my IBM XT. Things have changed.

I sit in the sales department now and do my best to keep up with the growing complexity of our clients networks. There is an amazing amount of technology driving the businesses in our roughly 75 mile circular territory and I am fortunate to be involved in much of it. Companies I've worked with have grown from a single office computer to intense data centers that demand 24x7 uptime.

Speaking of 24x7 uptime my incredible wife and I are learning about life through our little girl Kennedi. She's 2 at the time of this writing and has already proven that anything I am part of during business hours is not so complicated comparatively speaking. There are challenges and then there are challengers. I enjoy both but I may have met my match when it comes to the latter.
