I was born in Kirksville, Missouri and I've called home Novinger which is just outside Kirksville. I've been active in the information technology field for about 8 years now, although I've only been employed by ETC ComputerLand since January 2008.
Most people in Northeast Missouri know me from ATV racing, I've promoted ATV races from 2001-2008 locally.
I'm also an avid deer hunter, and love spending time with my new son Kelby and wife of Sonya. I went to high school in Novinger, Missouri and graduated in 2001. I attended two years at the Kirksville Area Technical Center, and was a night class instructor for one year.
Chris Mathews
Network Engineer
Chris went to school at DeVry University in Alpharetta, GA, and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Management. In Atlanta, he worked as a Network Engineer with a focus on Nortel's enterprise routing, switching, wireless and security appliances.
Beyond Nortel, Chris also has experience working with Juniper Networks, Extreme Networks, Nokia/Checkpoint firewalls and Sourcefire's IPS. Chris holds Certifications with Nortel and Juniper.
Chris Wilken

Originally from Omaha, NE I moved to Missouri in 2000. I have been married for 4 years and just had my first child Connor on October 2, 2009. I ran a commercial laundry for almost 5 years and now finally am getting into the IT career. I have been building computers since I was 13 and networking since I was 16. I also enjoy many forms of electronics such as home theater, car stereo, and gaming. When I'm not messing with computers and electronics I like camping, mountain biking 4 wheeling, and shooting. I am also learning the joys of being a father and also a uncle.
John Brueggeman
Service Technician
John was born and raised in Quincy IL where he graduated from Quincy Notre Dame. In 2004 he graduated with his BS in Computer Science from Quincy University. John is proud of his two daughters and is a big football fan.
Ken Ng
Support Specialist
Ken spent most of his life in small town Indiana, right on Lake Michigan. Being so close to Chicago, he is a mix of big city with a dash of country. He traveled 340 miles away from home to attend Quincy University to study Computer Science and Business Management. Quincy is now his home and he enjoyed his previous internship here at ETCC so much that he is now back to stay.
He considers the best things in life to be time with friends and family, all types of music, import sports cars, Japanese sport bikes, off-road trucks, jet skis, or anything with an engine for that matter, and of course, electronics and computers. He has way too many interests and hobbies for his own good.
Matt Gower
Director of Network Services
Matt Gower has worked at ETC ComputerLand since July 2004. Prior to ETC Computerland, Matt lived in Kansas City and worked as a Network Design Engineer for a large financial institution. While in Kansas City, he received a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Management from DeVry University. Matt has experience working with a broad range of network technologies. His primary focus has been Cisco routing, switching, wireless, security, and Unified Communications. Matt is a Cisco Certified Network Professional and a Cisco Certified Voice Professional.
As Director of Network Services, it includes duties related to managing the Advanced Technologies department as well as managing the other managers and supervisors in Service, Support, Presidium, the Kirksville branch office, and Cabling.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife Jamie and two sons, Cayden and Kai, as well as playing and watching just about every sport.
Michelle Horman
Support Administrator
Michelle graduated from the University of Utah with Bachelor degrees in Communication and Public Relations as well as a minor in Criminology. When she returned to Quincy she put those degrees to good use and went to work in the computer world. Michelle spends most of her days taking phone calls from clients and scheduling the network specialists and all the while she is profiling everyone around her using the skills learned in her Criminology classes. (Just kidding.) Michelle has been married to Mark Horman for over 13 years and has two daughters, Grace and Charlotte.
In her spare time, she enjoys attending her daughters many sporting events, working on their 100+ year old home, going to auctions and watching period flicks.
Randy Dodds

I graduated from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in 1985. I began working at ComputerLand in 1996 where I am Service Administrator. I married my wife Kelly in 1998.
I enjoy golf, cards, bowling and casinos. I am an avid St Louis Cardinals fan and am on a quest to visit as many major league parks as possible.
Rich Curtis

I have worked for ComputerLand for 10 years. I live in Hannibal. I am not married and have no kids. I have 2 cats.
I enjoy fishing, sports, and online gaming. I used to play paint ball but I am to fat for that now .....probably because of the online gaming.
Ryan Hinkamper
Support Specialist
Ryan was born and raised in Quincy where he attended Quincy Notre Dame and graduated in 1998. He later attended ITT Technical Institute in St Louis, Missouri where he received an AAS in Computers and Electronics Engineering.
He has experience with all Microsoft operating systems and environments. As well as proficiencies within large and small networks. Ryan holds the Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional: Enterprise Administrator (MCITP: EA) certification.
Ryan enjoys hunting deer, turkey, ducks, geese, rabbits, quail, pheasants, squirrels, coyotes, crows, doves, raccoons, and anything else legal. He also enjoys golf, softball, computer games, watching the Chicago Cubs, and making fun of Cardinal fans.
Brian Caldwell
Network Services Manager
Brian has over 20 years of experience in the field of Information Technology. Brian has been involved in various Internet and IT centric business ventures over the years. He has a diverse skill set that encompasses all aspects of Network Engineering, Programming, Systems Administration, Systems Analysis, Business Intelligence (BI), and Manufacturing (from an IT perspective).

Jason Carpenter
Senior Network Engineer
Jason graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelors of Science degree. While at Illinois State he majored in Telecommunications Management and minored in Industrial Technology.
He has experience with Cisco wireless and wired infrastructure, Microsoft Active Directory, Linux, and VMware Virtual Infrastructure.
Jason holds the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) for Windows 2003, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA), and VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certifications.
